For the cocktail:
1.5oz Laphroaig Quarter Cask Scotch
0.25oz water
0.5oz fresh lemon juice
0.5oz rosemary syrup
2 dashes Black Cloud Charred Cedar bitters
1 dash cranberry bitters
Rosemary sprig

For the rosemary syrup:
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
7g rosemary sprigs

  1. To create the rosemary syrup, combine sugar and water in a sauce pan and heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add the rosemary and simmer for 30 minutes. Cool, strain out the rosemary and refrigerate the syrup.
  2. Build the drink in a mixing glass and stir with ice to chill. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
